Baked Tortilla Apple Pie

All the cozy flavour of Thanksgiving apple pie, without rolling out a single crust. Baked golden in your Fritaire.

INGREDIENTS
⭐ 1 Gala apple
⭐ 2 tsp lemon juice
⭐ 1½ tbsp unsalted butter
⭐ 1½ tbsp brown sugar
⭐ 1 tbsp maple syrup
⭐ ½ tsp cinnamon
⭐ ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
⭐ ½ tsp vanilla extract
⭐ Pinch of salt
⭐ 1 tbsp cornstarch
⭐ 3 tbsp water
⭐ 4 small flour tortillas
⭐ Cooking spray
⭐ Icing sugar, for dusting

RECIPE
1. Preheat your Fritaire to 400°F (200°C).
2. Peel and slice the apple, then place it in a bowl with the lemon juice, brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt. Toss gently and let sit for 15 minutes.
3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat, then add the apple mixture. Simmer until the apples soften, adding a splash of water if it gets too dry.
4. Mix the cornstarch with the water and stir it into the pan until the filling thickens.
5. Spoon the apple filling onto each tortilla.
6. Fold in the sides, roll tightly, and place seam-side down on a parchment-lined tray.
7. Spray the tortillas with cooking spray and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Dust with icing sugar and enjoy warm.

Your kitchen will smell like fall for the rest of the day. Save this one 🍂
